Modified Asphalt With Polymers Asphalt Paving Additive is a directly added into asphalt mixing plant asphalt modifier, which improved the high temperature and low temperature performance of asphalt mixture. The method of using is directly mixing with aggregate and bitumen to modify asphalt mixture. • The dynamic modulus of ZTA-RA modified asphalt mixture at 55°C is about twice that of SBS modified asphalt mixture.
• The strong viscosity of ZTA-RA increases the softening point of asphalt, reduces the sensitivity to temperature of asphalt, and increases the adhesion of bitumen to mineral aggregates.
• The dosage is smaller and the effect is remarkable. The dosage is 0.3-0.4% of the asphalt mixture, and the dynamic stability can be increased from 1500times/mm to about 15000times/mm.
• The elastic component of ZTA-RA has a function of recovering the elastic recovery of the deformation portion of the pavement at a higher temperature, thereby reducing reduces the risk of permanent deformation of the pavement.
